There will be 3 sets of workshops dealing with major issues confronting women today.  These will include topics such as Building a Strong Marriage, Developing Relationships,  Walking with Christ in Daily Life, Understanding and Applying Scripture, Bringing Every Thought into Captivity, Parenting Adult Children, Dealing with Midlife Issues,  Growing through Trials, Learning to Live on Less, and other vital subjects.

Workshop Leaders are Jessie Sandberg, Sue Fallin, Joy Hardee, Faith Lamb, Susan Lovett, Sue Bouler, Elizabeth Handford, Carol Parks, and the keynote speakers.  The special Teen Program will be directed by Cindy Covey on Friday and Lisa Potter on Saturday.

Speakers include the Rice Sisters, four daughters of Evangelist John R. Rice who have been ministering and teaching all over the country using the Titus 2 principle of the older women teaching the younger women.

Reba Bowman is a teacher, speaker, and writer who has a burden for young ladies and their mothers as they deal with the influences of an ungodly culture. An inspiring motivator, her humor and wisdom add much to the Jubilee programs.

Other Featured Speakers

Carol Parks, a pastor’s wife, teacher, and mother, will lead the Jubilee music and teach two important workshops. Her experience as mother of three, as author of the popular column, “Time Out for Mothers,” and as editor of Joyful Woman magazine lends richness and credibility to her speaking.

Sue Fallin is a popular women’s speaker at many church retreats, and is author of the book Gathering Manna, which deals with her journey through serious illness and God’s ultimate healing. Her workshops feature practical, biblical ideas to apply in all areas of a woman’s life.

Dr. Susan Lovett, Academic Dean of TTU, has wide experience as a pastor’s wife, conference speaker, and outstanding soloist. She loves to encourage women with Biblical truth, and teaches with humor, compassion, and good sense!

Kay Sandberg, an award-winning professor at North Carolina State, is a gifted teacher who has a passion for memorizing Scripture. She will share practical methods to help any woman personalize Scripture and commit it to memory, no matter what her age! You will love her wise and witty session.

Sue Bouler, wife of Pastor David Bouler, directs the women’s ministry program at Highland Park Baptist Church, where she has developed a well-rounded mentoring program. She not only teaches a women’s Sunday School class, but she also teaches at Wednesday morning Bible study. She has a deep love and compassion heart for women.

Biographical Information on the Rice Sisters

Joy Martin specializes in helping women apply Biblical principles to their everyday lives.  As Jubilee Director, her enthusiasm and happy spirit help create an atmosphere of joy and anticipation. She directs the Women’s Ministry program at Tennessee Temple University, and has spoken at women’s events and marriage conferences across the United states and overseas.

Elizabeth Handford has had a major impact on Christian homes through her many best-selling books, including Me? Obey Him? and numerous Bible studies and books for children.  She contributes the weekly devotional thought for our website.  Her workshops are always original and helpful.

Joanna Rice is a former pastor's wife, teacher and musician.  She gives wonderfully practical messages and presents Biblical truth in a delightful way.  Her love for the Word and her burden for others are obvious in her teaching.  Her workshop on prayer is life transforming.

Jessie Sandberg, widely known for her book Letting People off the Hook, gives sensible and Scriptural guidance for Christian women of all ages. She serves as director of women’s ministries in her church, mentors young mothers, and does extensive counseling.

Mary Lloys Himes, through many years of being a pastor's wife and wisdom gained through personal loss, adds a unique touch of humor and practicality to any session she teaches.

Biographical Information on Reba Bowman
At a very early age, Reba accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior. She was very blessed to be raised in a Christian home by loving parents who taught her to love the Lord with all her heart, soul and mind.

Reba coached women's volleyball and basketball at the college level for 6 years and taught psychology and counseling courses. She also became the Dean of Women at a leading Christian University. Reba currently travels and speaks year round and also works with her church, Calvary Baptist in Chattanooga, TN.
